Star Stile hosts the first day of Essex 2nd XI's three-day Second Eleven Championship match today.
It is the start of four days of Second Eleven cricket at Star Stile, with Thursday being a Second Eleven Trophy 50-over match against the same opposition.
Cricket begins at 11am on each of the four days, with entry free to all.
The bar will be open for refreshments.
