Huge congratulations to the recipients of the 2017 Club Member and Young Player of the Year respectively.
Mark Surridge's tireless efforts working with the restructure of Halstead Juniors and his exceptional drive have been recognised as he was awarded Club Member of the Year for 2017, presented by Hon. Secretary Neil Morris at the annual Christmas Lunch.
Also recognised was Sam Walter as 2017's Young Player of the Year. Sam came through the Halstead Colts set-up, moving through the 3rd and 2nd XIs to become an integral part of Josh Wells' 1st XI. The off-spinner collected 17 wickets @ 24.94 and averaged 14.25 with the bat in Division One.
