Halstead capture England Women’s Academy all-rounder
Catherine Dalton, recently named in the England Women’s academy squad for their forthcoming tour to South Africa in April, will be a Halstead player this season. She is a fast bowler and aggressive top order batsman who will be available from May onwards.
She joins thanks to the club’s ties with Ian Pont. The Halstead player and former Netherlands and Bangladesh bowling coach who recently guided Dhaka Gladiators to victory in the inaugural Bangladeshi Premier League T20 competition.
