The club were saddened to hear of the passing of one of our former 1st XI players, Donald Barnes, at the end of March this year.
Donald played for the 1st XI in the 1960s, scoring two centuries - 104 n.o. against Thaxted in 1965 and 154 n.o. against Old Chelmsfordians in 1966 - the latter was a club record score at the time.
