Despite the frost on the ground this morning, Spring has sprung and we are now into the first month of the season.
Cricket is just 13 days away at Star Stile in the form of our curtain-raiser friendly against Chelmsford CC.
There is still plenty to be done at the ground before we can get underway, so a working party is required at the ground. From 10am on Saturday 6th April we will need all hands on deck to sort covers, sight screens, changing rooms, the outfield and general tidying up.
The groundstaff have been working tirelessly over the winter, but we need help from anyone that can spare an hour or so to get the ground spick and span for the season ahead.
We also require additional volunteers to cover teas this season. We have a great reputation for teas in the league and need more help than ever to cover the ever-increasing number of fixtures, so if you or a family member would be willing to give it a go, please let us know.

Fixture cards are with the printers and will be sent out as soon as they are ready.
