Looking out the window at the moment, it seems a bit like the April weather we would expect for our first games of the season.
We have been putting together a fixture list for the rest of August and September, with an eye on ensuring cricket of all standards being provided across the club.

As you can see, we intend to play an intra-club friendly next Saturday, 1st August at Star Stile. This will allow us to test the additional safety measures at Star Stile and shake off some of the rust. The intention is to play a shorter format game, under the new Covid secure procedures. We ask all players to let either Ed Clark (07771 128118) or Callum Hansey (07538 656486) know of your intention to play the game. We intend to play an 11 vs 11 match, but this will depend on player response.
The game on the Sunday against Sudbury at Friars Street is a 2nd/3rd XI game and the team will be selected accordingly from player availability on the website.
There will be guidelines sent out to the whole club prior to a return, but this will allow us to manage numbers and balance the sides.
