Recognising the recreational player

28 Jul 2013

As part of the Essex Cricket Strategy to ‘Inspire Essex to Choose Cricket’ the County would like to provide the opportunity to recognise players for outstanding performance.

Any player who scores 100 runs, takes 5 wickets, or 5 catches (including stumpings for keepers) in League cricket will be entitled to claim 2 tickets to any LV= CC or YB 40 game and a signed certificate from Alastair Cook and James Foster, this will also include the opportunity to buy extra tickets for £10 and a 10% discount in the Official Essex Cricket Retail Shop.

To claim this, the successful player will need to email Dan Feist with their performance; you will then receive an application form that will need to be returned with a copy or link to the scorecard from the match. This will also have a simple question that the County would like you to answer regarding how we can retain players in the game. Once your application has been verified you will then receive a code to use when booking your tickets.

Each player will only be able to claim once in the season. We hope that you find this a positive introduction to support and recognise the fantastic work and achievements of the recreational game.
