Match report The third eleven were winners in a hard fought clash against Stowmarket II

Stowmarket decided to bat first, but an excellent bowling and fielding display, particularly from Callum Hansey (2-36), who was ably supported by George Cook (2-25), Ben Roper (2-26) and Alex Rippingale (2-5), limited them to 119 all out. David Rawlinson and Brian coleman both pulled of spectacular catches for Halstead.

Halstead made hard work of their reply, falling to 33-4 but Mark Surridge (38) and then father and son Simon (25 no) and Alex (24) Rippingale ensured they reached their target with overs to spare.
