The Third Eleven slipped to their second defeat of the season at the hands of promotion rivals Bardwell.

Batting first, Halstead managed just 150-9 from their 45 overs. The top four of Mark Surridge (37), Mark Bloomfield (34) , Gary Dicker (21) and Sam Hawes (16) all got starts, but no one converted as Chris Grimwood (4-28) and Majid Bajwa (4-30) took the hosts' wickets.

Contributions came throughout the Bardwell innings, with wicket-keeper Jacob Wade (39) top scoring. Despite Mark Surridge's (5-46) five-wicket haul and one apiece for Morgan Whymark (1-27) and Mark Harris (1-22), Bardwell made it home with seven overs to spare.
