Ed Clark (2-24) and Morgan Whymark (1-37) made the inroads at the top of the Braintree innings before Callum Hansey (4-26) accounted for the middle-order.

Nick Lockhart (33) top scored alongside Louis Cant (22) and Matthew Hollingsworth (19), but Sam Walter (2-19) and Taylor Nicholson (1-12) helped Halstead bowl Braintree out for 127.

Liam Jones (55*) and Sam Chapman (68*) hit 21 boundaries between them as Halstead romped home with 21 overs to spare,
