A ten-man third eleven went down comfortably to Felixstowe & Corinthians II.

FInn Sheppard (108*) hit an unbeaten century for the hosts, with supporting half-centuries from Daniel Bennett (51) and Steve Bloomfield (53) as Felixstowe amassed 261-3 from their 45 overs.

Danny Lynn (1-53) trapped Mark Parker (12) lbw, with Mark Harris (1-84) dismissing Bennett - caught by Morgan Whymark - and returned the favour by catching Bloomfield off Whymark (1-54). Gary Metzler (19*) was the other not out batsman for Felixstowe.

In reply, a battling half-century from skipper Mark Bloomfield (50) was only met with double-figures scores from Danny Lynn (24) and Morgan Whymark (14) as Halstead were bowled out for 125.

Mark Parker (3-22) was the pick of the home bowlers, with a wicket apiece for Ollie Rose (1-15), Matt Flecknoe (1-32), Jamie Burrows (1-24) and Gary Metzler (1-10).
