Match report The second eleven were comfortably beaten by eight wickets away at Felixstowe.

Halstead batted first on a pitch that was difficult to play shots on early in the day. Felixstowe's bowling was tight, but extras was the second highest scorer of the innings. Only one batsman, Ian Pont (46) made double figures for Halstead, his partnership with Mark Surridge (8) moving the side from 25-4 to 71-5. Though the tail did not wag and Halstead were bowled out for a well below par 91.

Felixstowe batted well throughout their reply. Tristan Blackledge and Ian Pont claimed a wicket apiece, but a composed innings from the youngster Parker (51 n.o.) was enough to sea Felixstowe to victory in under 20 overs.
