Match report Little Bardfield Village emerged victorious by three wickets at Star Stile.

Despite a good start with Matt Webb (39) and Catherine Dalton putting on 71 for the first wicket, Halstead slumped to 143 all out.
Tristan Blackledge (22 no) was left stranded from number five as the tail contributed little.

The dangerous Daryl Hymas (3-43 and 40) set up the scene for Bardfield’s win with a great all round display.
Despite the best efforts of Ian Pont (3-30) and Blackledge (2-35) including a wicket with the first ball of the innings, Halstead will have felt disappointed to have not used up their overs, which may have given a vital few more runs.
