Match report The 3rd eleven made the short trip to Chappel and Wakes Colne and and once again it was Dakin senior and junior who stole the show !
The hosts won the toss and chose to bat first reaching 239/7 , Justin Rose conceding just 20 runs off his 10 overs led the bowling with Leo Nichols , Robert Harris and Madev Godamune chipping in with a wicket apiece.
The Dakins once again opened the batting putting on 171 for the first wicket before Charlie was out for 39 , Dad Neale continued to score at will against the floundering home bowlers reaching 140 not out including 26 4’s. Halstead winning by 7 wickets and 7 overs to spare.

Next week at Star Stile, the 3XI play Earls Colne.
