Match report The 2nd XI's hopes of a great escape from relegation to Division Five were dashed by a chastening defeat to fellow strugglers Worlington II.

The visitors were indebted to Tom Newell (130*), who made the most of being dropped early on to steer Worlington to an 8 wicket victory. Justin Rose's first century of the season had earlier helped Halstead to 207-6 from their 40 overs, but Newell and Thomas Baugh (63) ensured the points would be going back to Suffolk.
